Four little old men are in custody in Georgia for trying to wipe a few American cities off the map ... but the media is still concentrating on why Kim Kardashian got out of her little marriage?! The little old men story is sexier. It's even sexier than Lindsay going to jail for 30 days.

What's up with our fascination in America with tabloid style news? I remember when the Judge in the Casey Anthony trial called it Reality News. Michael Jackson's Doctor, Lindsay Lohan, and Kim Kardashian are big news makers right now!
As Sly said on the air earlier this week, there has to be arrests at the Occupy Wall Street protests in order for it to be a good enough story for the media to have the desire to cover it. It's about shelf space.... and we only have a limited amount of time to give you as many details as possible when we are writing and putting together a news cast.
I think we try to escape the reality of life sometimes... by vicariously living ours through people like that of the aforementioned news makers! I find these show business type news stories though, dominate the airwaves...and even though I've pounced on them in the past, today I felt like I had a certain amount of journalistic integrity by steering clear of least two of the three. :) MJ's Doc and closing arguments was today's winner. Yesterday it was Lindsay. I still have yet to say a word about the Kardashians though. Until now. Someone posted this on my facebook page. LOL
